Wren observes activities in the beavers' marsh

At the time of this shot, kill traps had been erected by the trapper at the entrance to the lodge and across the stream just upstream from the lodge. No new beaver activity is evidenced, so the beavers may have been killed or abandoned the site. Water hasn’t approached the driveway is weeks and the dam that remains doesn’t seem to be an ongoing threat to human structures.
